Coffee#1 Gosport

Use this coffee shop weekly along with a group of friends, and the manner in which we are greeted depends on the mood of the day! At times we are welcome as a large group spending money, on other occasionans we are made to feel like a major inconvenience. Today we went in and there were only 2 staff on, the manager and a young new girl, the young girl was extremely polite but it was obvious she was still finding her feet in the role. This was not a problem for us, everyone has to learn, and she was trying her best, the issue was the manager and the tone in which she kept scolding said employee in front of us all! I appreciate feedback is necessary but there is a way in which to deliver this and embarrassing her in front of the customers is not the way! I hope the poor girl doesnt give up as a result of a lack of support!

I am a member of Andy's Man Club, Gosport Branch, and each Thursday morning, we take the largest, longest table as a group, where we are free to chat, in a more, light hearted, relaxed atmosphere. We love this place, as we get great service, great coffee and have built a rapport with the lovely staff. They have a wonderful product and a great customer loyalty scheme, and whilst at times, we can appear chaotic, especialy when our group get rather loud and sometimes boisterous, nothing is too much trouble to the fabulous staff, who are happy, smiley and always very pleasant. This establishment means alot to our group and we really appreciate the kindness shown on EVERY visit. Thank you guys, we love you all..

Didn't have food so unable to comment. The coffee is second to none and the batista's are wonderful, friendly and attentive. I've become a recurring customer recently and have a 'unusual' slightly-more-complicated order, but the wonderful Jade recognised me and rattled it off near perfectly. That's the level of attention and service that makes you feel valued as a person, and makes you want to keep coming back. Will always recommend Coffee #1 to friends and family over larger chains, you're just treated nicer and better. Thank you Coffee #1 and thank you Jade.

Day visit to Gosport. After a walk around the marina we came upon this lovely cafe. Lots of options in sandwiches, cakes & of course coffees/teas. Staff are lovely & helpful, smiling all the time. Seating is ample tables, chairs & big comfy sofas & armchairs with outside seating too Would recommend

Only been here twice and the first time was great; the food was lovely. This time, the service and cleanliness was lacking. None of the tables or trays had been wiped down so were quite gross. The glass I was given was filthy, as the server touched the rim of it with his sticky fingers and left something on the rim. My toasted teacake was overdone and burnt in most places. Such a shame as could have been a lovely visit.
